These routes are intended to be something you could do by yourself in one day but would certainly be fun with friends as well. Got a day off work? Grab your canoe or kayak and try one of these local adventures.

Please do not use these maps for actual navigation! They are drawn for two reasons - to give the general sense of how to get from the starting point, across a path of water and back to the starting point - and to get an idea of the distance these routes cover and about how long it would take to complete.

Do not load these paths into your GPS and head out. There is no substitute for a map and compass and the knowledge of how to use them. I strongly suggest you print out some good paper maps before you go and do some good pre-planning of the route/trails you will be taking.
